Book Review~

Title: Clever Katya
Retold by: Julia Donaldson
Illustrator: Jane Kochnewitz
Publisher: Ginn and Company, Linacre House.

Book review:

The book is mainly about Czar who thought he was the cleverest person in Russia. However, he met a young girl, Katya who proves him wrong. After a few tasks that Katya cleverly outsmarted him. But soon Czar, he fell deeply in love with Katya and asked her for her hand in marriage. Katya agreed but with a condition that if he ever get fed up with her and sends her back home, he will let her to take the thing she loves best in the palace. Czar agreed to her condition.
Therefore Katya married to Czar and lived happily for a year until one night Czar was in a bad mood and quarrelled with her and sends her home. All Katya said was, "You look tired. Have a cushion for ypur head." Czar soon fell asleep. When the servants came back, she told them to carry the big chest and put it in thr cart. Once at home, she open the lid of the chest and there lies Czar sleeping soundly. Soon, Czar woke up outraged by Katya's doing but Katya reminded him of his promise and he forgives her and they lived happily ever after.

I'm quite satisfied after reading the book. Mainly, the book teaches that we should not be too proud of ourselves and be humble all the time. Thinking wisely is also one of the best thing to do before making a decision. The storyline of this book was quite good and it is easy to understand. Overall, this is yet the most interesting I have ever read.

My pool side party with my friends and family...

On 30th May,
I invited some of my friends over to my house to celebrate my birthday.
We had a SPLASHY fun.
First, we went down to the pool and start off with a water gun fight. But for us who don't have water guns, we had to suffer from those who keep on shooting, especially Aiman.
Later, we ate and went on swimming around the pool.
Some of us played the Twister.
Anyway, let's just skipped the whole thing and see some of the pictures we took.

They were joking around about something.

Leo stuffing fries into his mouth.

Yuki had her clothes wet because she didn't wanted to swim but in the end she still got wet and had to swim.

Ellisha enjoying her orange juice.

Ian was the last one who came and the earliest one who left.

Krisha, Ellisha and I took a group picture.

The guys were planning how to attack us.

We were playing Twister and we had so much FUN!

That's all for now... Bye!!

Holidays...

Hey, tommorow is the last day of exams!
*laughs
And after that, hello holidays!
Not really that fun cause we haven't even sat for our UPSR, so we can't really relaxed...-yet!
Well for this holidays, I think I'm going to
~do homework (finish up all the homework that was given, so that I can enjoy my holidays)
~shopping with some of my friends (with parents too)
~ maybe going ice skating
~study and revise (afraid I'll forget everything after the holidays!)

Yep, that's about it!
Nothing to do much, anyway.
By the way, I don't really like the holidays because I won't be able to see my friends for about 2 weeks . But when I'm schooling, I wish the holidays come faster. Have you ever felt that way before? Is that weird or what??

Yuki's Birthday Party at Eastin Hotel...

Hey, today we had our B.M and Moral test.
B.M was O.K and a little bit hard but Moral was easy.
Well, that not why I'm here today.. I'm here today to talk about Yuki's Birthday Party at Eastin Hotel.
It was on 17th May at the Swez Brasserie, Eastin Hotel. It was a buffet kinda birthday party.
I was a bit late because I had ballet before that.
I went there and wished the birthday girl all the best.
When I got there, I went to my friends, Ellisha, Sarah, Ho Ch'ng Mun and Kelly.
We went around the buffet cater and took whatever we like, we had oysters, salmon, ABC, soup, ice-cream and many other dishes.
After the meal, my friends and I started to chat about school and exams.
We went around the hotel and after that we went and EAT again.
Soon, a clown arrived to entertain Yuki's sister and all the other younger kids. As we were bored, we went over and asked the clown to make a balloons. Ellisha got a green sword, Kelly got a blue dog and Ch'ng Mun got a pink dog. After we got our balloon, we started to fool around and making up stories.
Later, we played truth or dare. My brother was also fooling around with us, making jokes that made us laugh our heads off.
Again, we went and eat. I can't stop eating the salmon though cause it is too delicious!!
We continue the games, and after that party ended.
So bad.
Well, I gotta say that the party was fun.
Here are some weird and funny pictures we took that day!
~Kelly drinking her water before heading to the buffet to grab more food!
~ Ellisha and I posing.. Haha..
~ I told her to stop moving but she JUST don't listen!!! But i like the effect of the picture!!
~ We're promoting ABC!!! Haha
~Ellisha and Ch'ng Mun were arguing over something.. I'm not sure either..
